Pureland Supply Lamp Timer Reset Reference
3M Projector Lamp Timer Reset:
1.  Turn on the 3M projector after replacing the lamp
2.   Press “reset” on the 3M projector remote control for 3 seconds.
3.   The 3M projector dialog box now appears
4. Press “reset” using the up button on the projector remote
5. Use your menu to check your lamp hours to confirm the reset.
Acer Lamp Timer Reset:
  1. Power on Acer Projector with new lamp installed.
  2. Press MENU on Remote
  3. Press down arrow key to MANAGEMENT, then right arrow.
  4. Press down arrow key to LAMP RESET
  5. Right arrow over to bring up “YES / NO” screen
  6. Left arrow to select “YES”
  7. Press MENU to accept.
  8. Press MENU again to exit and save
  9. Lamp timer should now be reset.

Barco Lamp Timer Reset:
1. Plug in the projector unit after replacing the lamp.
2. Press the POWER key.
3. Display the FEATURE menu in the ADVANCED menu.
4. Select ADVANCED MENU by pressing the or key.
5. Press ENTER.
6. Select LAMP 1 TIME RESET or LAMP 2 TIME RESET by pushing or .
LAMP 1 TIME RESET
LAMP 2 TIME RESET
7. Press ENTER.
The conrmation dialog appears.
8. Reset by pressing the ENTER key.
BenQ Lamp Timer Reset:
  1. Turn on Projector after replacing lamp. Be sure lamp cover is securely installed.
  2.  Press the “Exit” button on the projector’s control panel and hold it for three seconds. Release the button when “Lamp Hours” appears on the screen. 
  3. Press “Menu,” then press the arrow navigation buttons to adjust the lamp hours on the display. Reset the lamp hours to “00:00”. 
  4. Press “Exit” to save the new lamp hour setting and start the timer over for the new bulb. 

**Complete the Lamp Timer Reset within 10 minutes of turning the machine on for the first time after replacing the lamp. **
Boxlight Lamp Timer Reset:
  1. Power on Boxlight projector with after replacing lamp.
  2. Go to the Boxlight projector menu using the remote.
  3. Use arrow keys on remote to navigate to “settings” option.
  4. Navigate to “Lamp Counter Reset” option press “SELECT” button.
  5. Select “yes” option and press “select” when the “reset lamp counter” is displayed. 
  6. Lamp hours should not be reset.

Canon Lamp Timer Reset:
  1. Power up Canon Projector after replacing lamp.
  2. Press the Menu button and the on-screen menu will appear.
  3. Press 3/4 button to remove the red frame pointer to the setting Menu icon.
  4. Press the number Six button to move the red frame pointer to the Lamp Counter Reset item and then press Select button.
  5. The message “Lamp Replace Counter Reset?” appears. Move the point to and then press Select button.
  6. Another confirmation dialog box appears and select to reset the Lamp Replace Counter.

Christie Lamp Timer Reset:

**Christie Lamps have a built-in Lamp Timer module that automatically reset the lamp timer when installed. There is no manual Timer Reset option for these models.
PurelandSupply Tests and verifies each Lamp before shipping to guarantee the Lamps Built in timer is functioning properly and will Reset your timer upon installation.
The Projector must have its Filter counter reset manually.
Christie Projector Filter Reset:

RESETTING THE FILTER COUNTER
  1. Switch the power button to ON.
  2.  Press the MENU button to display the On-Screen Menu. Use the cursor buttons to move the red frame pointer to the Setting Menu icon.
  3.  Use the Point buttons to move the red frame pointer to Filter counter and then press the SELECT button. A dialog box appears showing the Used time option and the Scrolls remaining option. Use the Point buttons to select Used time.
  4. Used time shows the total accumulated time of the filter use, a timer setting option, and the Reset option. Select Reset and the “Filter counter Reset?” appears. Select [Yes] to continue.
  5. Another confirmation dialog box appears, select [Yes] to reset the Filter counter                 

NOTES: 1) The FILTER TIME value shown on the EASY menu is the use time since the last time the FILTER TIME was reset. Refer to the value for proper maintenance. 2) Do not reset the FILTER TIME without replacing a filter.

Dell Lamp Timer Reset:
1. Press the “Menu” button to turn on the projector’s on-screen menu.
2. Use the “right arrow” button to highlight the projector’s “Lamp” menu option and press the “Enter” key to select it. The Enter key on the projector is located in the center of the directional keypad and has a check mark on it.
3. Use the “Down Arrow” to highlight the “Lamp Hour Reset” option.
4. Press the “Right Arrow” to highlight the “Yes” option and press the “Enter” key to select it and reset your lamp.
5. Press the “Menu” key to exit the projector’s menu system.
Dukane Lamp Timer Reset:
Reset the lamp timer after replacing the lamp. When the lamp has been replaced after the LAMP indicator is red, or the CHANGE THE LAMP message is displayed, complete the following operation within ten minutes of switching power ON. The power will be turned off automatically in over 10 minutes.
1. Switch power ON, and press the RESET button, for approximately three seconds. The ‘LAMP
xxxx hr’ message will appear on the lamp timer on the bottom of the screen.
2. Press the MENU button on the remote-control transmitter, or the RESET button on the control
panel, while the lamp timer is displayed. The ‘LAMP xxxx
then appear.
3. Press the
and select 0, and wait until the timer display is cleared.
NOTE
Do not reset the lamp timer without replacing the lamp. Reset the lamp timer always
when replacing the lamp. The message functions will not operate properly if the lamp timer is not
reset correctly
Eiki Lamp Timer Reset
1.While simultaneously holding down “MENU/HELP”, “ENTER” and Right Arrow” on the projector, press “STANDBY/ON” on the projector.
2. “LAMP 0000H” is displayed, indicating that the lamp timer is reset
Epson Lamp Timer Reset:
1. Press the “Menu” button to open up the projector’s menu system.
2. Use the “Down Arrow” button to select the “Reset” menu option and press the “Enter” key.
3. Press the “Down Arrow” until the “Reset Lamp Hours” option is highlighted and press the “Enter” key.
4. Highlight “Yes” to indicate that you want to reset the lamp timer, and press “Enter” to reset the timer.
5. Press the “Esc” or “Menu” key until you have exited the menu system.
Hitachi Lamp Timer Reset:
  1. While the projector running, press the MENU button to open the menu. (2)
  2. Choose the “OPTION” on the menu using the / button, then press the button or ENTER button.
  3. Choose the “LAMP TIME” using the / button, then press and hold the RESET button for 3 seconds.
  4. Choose the “RESET” using the button.

* When the lamp has been replaced after the message of “THE POWER WILL TURN OFF AFTER 0hr.” is displayed, complete the following operation within 10 minutes of switching power on.
* Incorrectly resetting of the lamp timer (resetting without replacement, or neglect of resetting after replacement) will result in incorrect message functions.
Infocus Lamp Timer Reset:
1. Press the “Menu” button to activate the on-screen menu system.
2. Press the “Right Arrow” button until the “Installation II” sub-menu option is highlighted.
3. Use the “Down Arrow” button to highlight the “Advanced” option and press the “Right Arrow” or “Enter” button to enter the sub-menu.
4. Use the “Down Arrow” to navigate down to the “Lamp Hour Reset” option and press “Enter” or “Right Arrow” to activate it.
5. Press the “Down Arrow,” “Up Arrow,” “Left Arrow” and “Right Arrow” key to reset the lamp timer.
6. Press the “Menu” key a few times until you exit the menu system.
JVC TV Lamp Timer Reset:
Lamp Timer Reset
The lamp replacement message will appear when you need to change the lamp.  After you replace the lamp, you need to reset the timer which is built into your television.
  1. Press the MENU Button until you get to LAMP TIMER RESET
  2. The following message will appear. “PRESS OK TO RESET THE LAMP TIMER.”
  3. Press the OK button while the above message appears on the television screen.
  4. Now your LAMP TIMER is reset properly.

Liesegang Lamp Timer Reset:
1. Switch power ON after replacing the lamp, and press the TIMER button on the remote control transmitter, or the RESET button on the control panel, for three seconds. The ‘LAMP HOURS’ message will appear on the lamp timer on the bottom of the screen.
2. Press the MENU button on the remote control transmitter, or the RESET button on the control panel, while the lamp timer is displayed. The ‘LAMP HOURS’ then appear.
3. Select 0, and wait until the timer display is cleared
Mitsubishi Lamp Timer Reset:
  1. Plug the cable in, but do NOT Power on the projector
  2. Push the POWER button simultaneously with the < and > buttons for about 3 seconds. 
  3. The Status light will Flash 2 times indicating a successful reset.

This Procedure works for most Mitsubishi Projectors.
NEC Lamp Timer Reset:
  1. Press Menu on the remote control or the projector cabinet.
  2. The menu appears.
  3. Using the Select buttons on the remote control or the projector cabinet, scroll down to Default, and then press Enter.
  4. A submenu appears.
  5. Scroll down to Clear Lamp Hour Meter, and then press Enter.
  6. The lamp usage hours counter resets.

*If Projector will not turn on at all after lamp install, hold down the HELP button on the remote (Only the remote) for about 10 seconds.  The Status light will change color indicating the timer is now reset and the projector is no longer in protection mode.
Optoma Lamp Timer Reset:
  1. Turn on the projector and press menu on your remote (or projector unit)
  2. Now Select SYSTEM and go to lamp settings.
  3. Please select Lamp Reset and then press YES.
  4. Press MENU to exit and your lamp timer should now be reset

Panasonic TV Lamp Timer Reset:
  1. Plug the television set back into the wall socket.
  2. Press and hold down the “VOL -” button on the television set’s control panel. While doing this, aim your remote control at the TV.
  3. Press and hold its “PIP” button. If you have a set with model number PT-xxLC14 where the “xx” could be 43, 50 or 60, press and hold the remote control’s “Split/Play” button instead of the “PIP” button. 
  4. Release the two buttons when a message comes on the TV screen letting you know that the timer was reset to zero hours.
  5. Press the “Enter” button in the center of the remote control’s directional control keys to exit the message. Your television is now ready for normal use.

Panasonic Lamp Timer Reset Procedure:
Warning: perform the lamp time reset only when the lamp has been replaced.
1. Press the power button to turn the unit on.
2. There are 3 choices for this step, depending on the housing part number:
A. TY-LA1000, TY-LA1500 or TY-LA2005 While pressing the VOL- button on the projection display, hold down the PIP or SPLIT button on the remote control at the same time for more than 5 seconds.
B. TY-LA1001 or TY-LA2006 While pressing the VOL- button on the projection display, hold down the number 0 button on the remote control at the same time for more than 5 seconds.
C. TY-LA2004 While pressing the VOL- button on the projection display, hold down the MUTE button on the remote control at the same time for more than 5 seconds.
3A. When the reset procedure is complete the following screen will appear:
LAMP TIME WAS RESET TO 0 (this screen may be different from the actual screen)
OR
3B. The POWER and LAMP LED’s on the front of the unit will flash for 5 seconds. (TY-LA2006) When the lamp time reset is finished, the LAMP indicator goes out
Projection Design Timer Reset:
Projection Design Lamps use a built-in lamp timer to the lamp itself. The circuit board installed carries the time on the Integrated circuits.  There is no way to manually reset a lamp timer on a Projection Design Lamp. 
Pureland Supply Checks and verifies every lamp timer module before they are stocked to ensure proper operation to the end user.
Proxima Lamp Timer Reset:
Switch power ON, and press the TIMER button on the remote controller, or the RESET on your control panel, for approximately three seconds. The ‘LAMP Hour’ message will appear on the lamp timer on the bottom of the screen.
 Press the MENU button on the remote controller, or the RESET button on the control panel, while your lamp timer is displayed. The ‘LAMP Hour’ message will appear.
 Press 0, and wait until the timer display is cleared
Runco Lamp Timer Reset:
  1. Turn on your projector after replacing the lamp
  2. Press keypad <Source> and <Auto> keys simultaneously, enter ” Lamp Hour info” layer
  3. Press <Source> and <Auto> keys simultaneously again, then enter factor menu. 

Do not change anything until you reach Lamp Layer where lamp hour and usage hour is given. If you reset, then all data revert to default – factory reset.
Sanyo Lamp Timer Reset:
  1. Turn the projector on after replacing your lamp and press the MENU button to display the On-Screen Menu.  
  2. Select the Setting Menu with the Point buttons.  
  3. Select Lamp counter reset and then press the Point buttons. “Lamp replacement counter reset?” appears. 
  4. Select [Yes] and then press the OK button.
  5. Another confirmation dialog box appears, now select [Yes] to reset the Lamp counter

Toshiba Lamp Timer Reset:
  1. Unplug the power cord from the electrical outlet. 
  2. Replace Lamp. Leave Projector Unplugged
  3. Turn the main power switch to the “On” position. Do not Turn on Projector.
  4. Press and hold the “On/Standby,” “Menu” and “Input” buttons at the same time. The buttons are on the projector. Though the same buttons are found on the remote control, the reset only works with the buttons on the projector.
  5. Plug the power cord back into the outlet while holding the buttons in Step 3. The lamp timer will reset when the projector receives power.

Sharp Lamp Timer Reset:
Using the Command Buttons
1. Plug the projector in after replacing your projector lamp.
2. Press and hold the down arrow along with the “Enter” and “Menu” buttons.
3. Press “Standby” on the projector control panel while holding the other buttons. Watch the display for “LAMP HOURS” to appear. This indicates the lamp hours are reset.  Now release the buttons.
If You are Using the Directional Pad
1. Replace the lamp and then plug in the projector.   Press and hold the down and right arrow buttons as well as the “Enter” button.  Press the “Power On” button on the control panel while pressing the other buttons. Watch for “LAMP Hours” to appear on the display, indicating that the lamp hours have reset. Release all of the buttons
Sim2 Lamp Timer Reset:
You need to press 2 buttons on the remote then enter a five digit number to enter the service menu to reset the lamp counter.  You may have to contact Sim2 for support for Lamp Timer Reset instructions
Viewsonic Lamp Timer Reset:
After you have replaced the projector lamp the “THE POWER WILL TURN OFF AFTER 0hr.” message is displayed, complete the following steps within 10 minutes of switching power ON. Please note the power will be turned off
automatically after 10 minutes:
Switch POWER ON, and press the RESET button, for approximately three seconds. The “LAMP HOURS” message will display on the lamp timer on the bottom of the screen.
Press the MENU button on the remote-control transmitter, or the RESET button on the control panel, while the lamp timer is displayed.
Press the Left Arrow and select 0, and wait until the timer display is cleared
Vivitek Lamp Timer Reset:
  1. Press the Menu button
  2. Press left/right arrow keys to move to the Setup menu.
  3. Press up/down arrows to move to the Advanced menu, now press enter
  4. Press the cursor up/down arrows button to Lamp Hour Reset.
  5. Press Enter.
  6. Your lamp timer should now be reset.
